How Can I Reset My Forgotten Password on Windows 7?

Problem: I forgot my Windows 7  password for my Toshiba. help?
Okay, i cant get into my laptop because i forgot password on Windows 7 . Is there an easy way for me to fix this?? i would also like to know if i would have to reset it to factory setings because i dont have a blank cd i only have a dvd+R what should i do...?

Try to reset Windows password for your Toshiba PC with the following  steps.  Step 1: Press F8 when your Windows 7 laptop is booting. You will come to the Advanced Boot Options. Step 2: Enter safe mode with an available admin account.
Step 3: Type "net user" and press Enter. The command prompt will show you all accounts on the Windows Vista PC.
Step 4: Type "net user Pin 123" (Pin is the locked admin account's name and 123 is the new password) and press Enter. Now you have successfully created a new password on the locked admin account.
Step 5: Type "shutdown -r -t 00" and press Enter.
Your Windows 7 PC  for the Toshiba laptop should be rebooted automatically and then you can logon Windows with the new password.
