How to Reset a BIOS Password?

Today password plays a very important role in data security. As a common PC user, you can easily set a Windows login password and a BIOS password to secure your computer data. Then if you forgot BIOS password, what should you do?
The best method to reset a BIOS password depends on what BIOS the computer has, but the general BIOS reset methods are collected as follows:
Method 1: Remove BIOS battery
The BIOS password is stored in CMOS memory that is maintained while the PC is powered off by a small battery, which is attached to the motherboard. Removing the battery will act to wipe clean all of the memory and settings in BIOS, including the stored password. Method 3: Contact BIOS manufacturer

For example, if you forgot Dell BIOS password, you can call Dell's customer service center for help.  Of course, to verify that you are the owner of the laptop, Dell will require you to provide them with the Service Code and Service Tag numbers, both of which should be located on the sticker found on the bottom of your machine.
