The Ways to Reset Windows Admin Password

Windows 7 features two basic types of user accounts, Administrator and Standard (also including Guest account). The Administrator account has full access to all computer  and system settings. A Standard user essentially has access only to files and settings that effect that particular user.
You may need to change account types to give a user more access to perform tasks like installing software or other system changes, or you may need to change the account to give a user less access to prevent critical system changes. But you can do nothing but get in a big mess without the administrator account or the administrator password has been lost or forgotten.
Then, how to restore the admin password or can someone hack or reset Windows 7 admin password and regain access into the PC? It seems to be a big issue to those who have little knowledge on computer.
Firstly, if you have owned another available admin account and password, it is easy for you to do so just like this:
1. Click StartControl Panel and User Accounts in order.
2. Pick the specified Windows account whose password you want to change.
3. Click on Change the password.
4. Enter your current password and type a new password, and then click Change Password button.
Of course, only if you can login the welcome screen, you also can take some command line to reset or change the admin password.
Well, if you are only the guest accout, how can you reset the forgotten password on Windows 7 and then log on the pc? 2 options I think is more convenient to solve the password recovery trouble on Windows 7.
Option 1: Take a Windows password reset disk
It comes to be a necessity to create a Windows password reset disk when you create a password for your Windows OS. If there is a reset disk for your  Windows 7 in hand, do it this way:
1. If you enter the wrong password when you attempt to log on, Windows will display a message that the password is incorrect. Click OK to close the message box.
2. Click Reset Windows Password, and then insert Windows password reset disk (or other removable media).
3. Follow the steps in the Password Reset Wizard to create a new password.
4. Log on with the new password. You can use the same password reset disk instead of making a new one when you need to reset Windows 7 password again.
Option2: Take a Windows Password Recovery Software Instead
As I know, many a third party are out of side for you to pick up. How to selct a satisfactory one? Which one is more suitable to reset the password for you? Just input “reset Windows 7 password” in google and choose the ones that rank at the head. I have tried with Windows Password Unlocker, which has won big pupolarity and powerful performance. You also can have a look at its official site.

1 comment:
