How to Add Fingerprint Logon in Windows 7?

Windows 7 allows you to protect your logon and the UAC via biometric devices, but what if you want to protect certain applications, files, databases or important documents?

To add more account information for a Fingerprint Logon account for a Web site or for a program, follow these steps.
Note When you log on to the Web site by using the DigitalPersona Password Manager, you will be prompted to choose the account information that you want to use.

  1. Open the logon screen of the Web site or the program that has the Fingerprint Logon that you want to change.
  2. Click the hand icon to start the Fingerprint Logon Manager.
  3. Touch the reader with any registered finger to display the Fingerprint Logon Manager dialog box.
  4. Click Add.
  5. Click Continue.
  6. Click Choose Fields if a field is required for logon that is not displayed in the Logon Information area.
  7. Click OK.
Well, you have successfully add a fingerprint logon for your Windows 7 PC.  As Windows 7 users, it is a good and safe way to preventing from lost Windows 7 password.
