"Well, I can not remember my Windows admin password for my Toshiba laptop when I want to download computer games. What's matter with it? Can I find or
reset the Windows admin password?"
The best option is to use your
Windows password reset disk. If you don't have a password reset disk, you can reset the password by using another administrator account, if you have one. If you reset a password using another administrator account, you will permanently lose access to any e‑mail messages or encrypted files that are on the administrator account that you are resetting the password for.
The steps that you should follow will vary, depending on whether your computer is on a domain or a workgroup.
My computer is on a domain
Open User Accounts by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking User Accounts, and then clicking User Accounts.
Click Manage user accounts. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Click the user account that you want to reset the password for, and then clickReset password.
Enter the new password, confirm the new password, and then click OK.
My computer is on a workgroup
Open User Accounts by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking User Accounts and Family Safety, and then clicking User Accounts.
Click Manage another account. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Click the user account that you want to reset the password for, and then click Change the password.
Enter the new password, confirm the new password, enter a password hint, and then click Change password.
